Expanded Modular keeps the modular proportion, three courses to one brick length, at a larger scale. Five brick with joints run 48 in. and five courses rise 16 in., about five brick per square foot. Fifteen brick and fourteen joints run 11 ft 11-9/16 in., so it suits a 12 ft bed. It sits in King Klinker's lowest price band.

Test results.

Freeze thaw pull-out, ASTM C666 Procedure B Standard: at least 150 psi on all ten panels, five of them after 300 freeze thaw cycles. King Klinker: exceeded it by at least 27 percent on every clay body.
Cold water absorption About 3 percent. PCI allows 6 percent for nonglazed brick.
Efflorescence, ASTM C67 Standard: none. King Klinker: none.
Size Every size meets TBX tolerance and the PCI dimensional tolerance.
Warpage Every size meets the TBX warpage standard.

Tested per ASTM C67/C67M, ASTM C650 and ASTM C666/C666M, in accordance with the PCI Specification for Thin Brick. Red clay body report 8914-20944 and white clay body report 8914-22399, both dated 20 May 2020. Brown clay body report dated 4 October 2019. All three reports are in the documents below.

Made to fit the Advanced liners.

King Klinker makes these formats to fit the Advanced liner molds. The King Klinker plant keeps Advanced liners on site and test fits production brick into them before a pallet ships, so the brick a producer opens on the casting bed drops into the liner it was made for. King Klinker fires it at a plant built in 2013 with Siemens controls and German machinery.
